From TED Talks to Fortune 500 leaders, PrepTalk has been training them all for 20+ years.

For a new exclusive communication program: the Brand, the vibes, the design, and the storytelling journey needed elevated nuance.

More than just charm.

Most communication training is generic, corporate… or quietly condescending.

Women are handed frameworks built for someone else and told to adapt. This program is built differently — from the ground up, for this audience, with craft and intention at every touchpoint.

I needed to design it for women who are ready
to own the room, not just survive it.

Like the charm bracelet passed down by great gran, the design identity is rooted in passing on skills.

One of the cornerstones of the program was removing shame and replacing it with confidence. The symbol set I developed to mark progress and skill achievement was represented by a collection of handed-down treasures. Just like life skills.

Time to make communication your super power.

When one of the people you respect and adore most comes to you to design an exclusive program, top-to-bottom: you say yes.

Then you work very hard.

Before designing, I undertook a competitive market report to get a current take on how big brands-to-small independents were doing it. We workshopped the program format including names (which led to naming research/trademark & copyright).

A clear vision underlined the Brand design. Luxurious minimalism was needed to underpin the professionalism and nuance of the topic. During development, I noticed a thimble that I’d had for years, passed down from my mom, who got it from her mother. When my Client shared a similar story, the ‘charm bracelet’ concept resonated.
